Deep Purple are releasing a new studio album called “Rapture Of The Deep” on October 24 in Europe and on November 1 in the US. There will be a limited European edition as well as a Japanese edition featuring different bonus tracks.

Mask, RG’s solo album from 1984, has been reissued by UK based company Cherry Red Records.

Although the album hasn’t been remastered or includes any bonus material, it comes with a six page foldout booklet including lyrics and liner notes by Malcolm Dome (Classic Rock Magazine).

EMI will release a new DEEP PURPLE DVD called “Deep Purple Live In Concert 72/73” on July 25 2005.

The disc will contain b/w footage from Copenhagen 1972 (90 min) and color footage from New York 1973 (27 min). Both shows feature the classic MK2 lineup: Ritchie Blackmore, Ian Gillan, Jon Lord, Ian Paice and of course RG.

Blabbermouth posted a small article about one of RGs paintings as cover for the current issue of Underground Empire.

Craig Hooper from ITV1 Wales reports that the feature on RG had the most number of hits for any programme in the history of the website. The sad news is that the webcast is no longer available from their site.
