The “Butterfly Ball” movie, directed by Tony Klinger, has been released on DVD by Music Video Distributors. The movie features live sequences filmed on October 16, 1975 at the Royal Albert hall mixed with theatrical scenes. For more information, have a look at the discography or check out their site.
edel Records have released a “Rapture Of The Deep” 2CD tour edition. In addition to the complete album (including “MTV”), it features a new version of “Clearly Quite Absurd”, the Japanese bonustrack “Things I Never Said”, a studio recording of “The Well-Dressed Guitar” and five live tracks recorded in London, October 2005.
RG writes: My friend, the artist Evi Ivan, whose paintings of the various members of Deep Purple many of you will have seen, is holding an exhibition, in Cologne, of her work. It starts in January and is ending in March. I will visit the gallery sometime in February.
